A total of 19 parochial and church posts are set to be filled at tomorrow's parish meeting at the Vale Douzaine Room, starting at 7.30pm.

Vale Senior Constable Richard Leale has responded cautiously to the announcement that the States has spent £6.5m buying Kenilworth Vinery off Lowlands Road to be used to build up to 135 affordable new homes.

Up to 313 new homes could be built at the former sites of Belgrave and Fontaine Vineries now that a draft development framework has been approved for the area. The decision has caused dismay because it runs counter to multiple representations against it, including from the parochial authorities.
