Leale’s Yard and planning issues to be considered by Douzaine

Publication of the draft planning framework for regenerating Leale’s Yard and the Bridge area generally is to be considered by the Vale Douzaine at its forthcoming meeting.

Senior Constable Richard Leale - who has no involvement with the site - made this clear as a number of requests for comment have been received. 

The monthly meeting is held next Monday, the 27th, which will give Douzeniers time to go through the documents released by Planners and discuss the proposals in depth. 

It is anticipated that comment will be made following the meeting.

Planning has also approached the Douzaine for comment regarding the application submitted to build 11 new homes on the Tertre Lane field known as Camp Dolent. 

Again, this is expected to be discussed by the Douzaine on Monday and a statement released afterwards.
