The Vale Parish Remembrance Service commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armistice will be held at 10.00am on Sunday 11 November at the war memorial. Anyone attending will then be invited back to the Douzaine room for tea or coffee and biscuits and invited to view a special exhibition consisting of details of all those names that appear on the memorial from the 1914 to 1918 conflict.
The exhibition will be open until 5.00pm and then again on the Monday and Tuesday from 9.00am until 5.00pm.
To go with the exhibition the Constables and Douzaine have produced a booklet containing details and pictures of nearly all of the men commemorated on the memorial. Copies of this booklet will be available for a donation to the RBL poppy appeal.
