Deferred douzenier election will be held on Wednesday

Vale parishioners on the electoral roll can vote in an election for five douzeniers on Wednesday and six nominations have been received.

Polls open at the Vale Douzaine Room, Maraitaine Road, at 8am on the 19th and remain available until 8pm, and the Constables and Dean of the Douzaine have published the official notice (below) convening the election.
There are four seats for four years and one seat to complete the term to 2026 and the candidates are:
- Terence Ives Ashworth
- Julie-Anne Elizabeth Creed
- Martine Elizabeth Ellis
- Janine Patricia Le Cras
- Anne Bernadette Setters
- Adam Tippett

No postal votes are available for deferred parish elections and you do need to be on the electoral roll to vote in person. If you're not sure, parish officials will check when you arrive to cast your ballot.
