Thu 23 Jan 2020

Guernsey will have a General Election of People’s Deputies in June 2020. In order to vote in this election you must be registered on the Electoral Roll. A brand-new roll has been established for this election so you must re-register even if you have been registered before.

The States Election Office has been in touch with the Vale Constables and asked if the following information could be published on the parish website:

The easiest way to [register] is online at election2020.gg or you can fill out the household registration form that was sent to every home in Guernsey in December 2019. If you think you have not received a form and would like one please call the Election 2020 Office on 01481 747579.
Once you are registered on the Electoral Roll you have a choice of how and where you vote.

You can vote in person at a polling station on any one of the polling days or you can opt for a postal vote. The easiest way to opt for a postal vote is online at election2020.gg or you can call the Election 2020 Office on 01481 747579 and request a postal vote application form.
