L'Ancresse Wall update

The former anti-tank wall at L'Ancresse is back in the news with the media reporting that £5,000 is to be spent preparing a small section of it for the winter.

In the meantime, the Vale Commons Council, which manages the Common, has published its own commentary on the proposed demolition of a 130 metre section of the wall, which it believes will be detrimental to the area.

The council's article includes some images, including one which it says could indicate future damage to the Common and golf course if the wall is removed.
