It used its Facebook page to say the service is glad to see positive feedback about the new filter at Barras Lane, which was installed last week.
"This latest change to our island’s transport infrastructure is designed to improve safety for all road users, nearby residents and businesses," it said.
Anyone who would like formally to provide feedback during the 12-month trial of this junction control measure can email [email protected] or write to Traffic and Highway Services, Edward T Wheadon House, Le Truchot, St Peter Port, GY1 3WH.
"Whether it’s new filters, upgrading zebra crossings, installing tactile paving and dropped kerbs, this all forms part of our overall aim to make our roads safer and more accessible for all road users," the service said.
Our earlier post about the decision to install the filter had a record number of views and many of the comments were in favour of the filter. Many other suggestions for traffic improvements have been made and are being considered by Traffic.
