New Vale Douzeniers set to be sworn in

The five have been invited by the court to take their oath of office on the 9th or 23rd of December and when that has been completed they will be able to take up their parochial roles for the next four years. Ms Le Cras has been elected for one year to complete the unexpired term of office of a douzenier who has left the parish.
Their first full douzaine meeting is expected to be on January 26, when they will play a full part in the douzaine's deliberations and agenda.
The election was held on Wednesday 19 November at the Vale Douzaine Room from 8am until 8pm and 163 electors cast their votes.
The unsuccessful candidate was Adam Tippett.
