Parish elections and meeting details published

The electors of the Vale will be asked to elect a Constable, to replace Mr J H Niles, and five douzeniers. This is to replace Mr W J Le Page, Mr P F van der Tang, Mr N J Leale, Mrs J P Le Cras and to complete the term of Mr W H Cohu (2 years).
Nominations for these positions have now opened and the relevant forms are available from the Constables' Office during office hours from 10am until 1pm.
These will need to be returned by 26th October 2026.
Mr Niles is seeking re-election as Constable and Mr Le Page, Mr Leale and Mrs Le Cras are also seeking re-election as Douzeniers.
Meeting agenda
Other business to be conducted by ratepayers and electors is as follows:
– To approve the decision of the Parochial Cemetery Committee to hand over the running of the said cemetery to the Constables and Douzaine of the Vale.
– To elect Auditors for the Constables' accounts for 2026.
– To fix the time at which Parish Meetings shall be held in 2027.
– To take all such measures as the Electors and Ratepayers may deem advisable.
