Parish elections on Wednesday

An election for two new Vale Douzeniers will go ahead this Wednesday after the States Committee for Home Affairs agreed that it could be held, after problems with the electoral roll and earlier date had been identified.

This affected the Vale and St Martin's but approval has now been given for the meeting to be held at the Vale Douzaine Room at 6.30pm on the 18th.

It is needed to replace two Douzeniers who did not seek re-election. 

Two candidates have come forward for the two seats left vacant. They are John Niles and Victoria Robinson. They are expected to take up their posts in January.

The formal notice convening the election is below and electors of the parish are invited to attend formally elect the new officers. As there is no other business, it should be a brief meeting.
