In all, some £250,000 is required for administration and other purposes with a further £456,000 for the collection of domestic refuse.
Full details of the proposed expenditure has been published in La Gazette Officielle in the Guernsey Press today (see below) along with details of how the sums are to be raised by means of Owners' Rates, if ratepayers approve.
The parish meeting to consider these items is to be held at 7.30pm on 18 March at the Vale Douzaine Room, immediately after the Ecclesiastical meeting convened to approve the Churchwardens' accounts and authorise expenditure on the parish church for the year.
Details of that and the agenda for the meeting are also to be found in the downloads section below.
In all, some £30,000-worth of expenditure is requested by the churchwardens after a credit of a little over £3,000 has been applied for work not carried out last year.
In the case of the Constables' meeting, an election will be held for a douzenier to replace Garry Collins, who has left the parish. For anyone interested in standing, details and a nomination form can be obtained from the douzaine office.
Please note, completed forms must be received by 9 March.
Ratepayers are also asked to approve the respective parish accounts, which have also been published and are available here: https://valeparish.gg/douzaine/accounts/
