Invitation to the Vale Remembrance Service

The 2025 Service commemorating the Armistice will be held on Sunday 9th November at 10am at the war memorial just off the Bridge.

The invitation has been extended by the Constables and Douzaine and it is hoped that as many parishioners as possible will attend this annual mark of respect for the dead of both World Wars and, especially, those Vale men commemorated on the memorial itself.

The official notice (below) was posted in La Gazette Officielle by Senior Constable Richard Leale and Rosemary Henry, the Dean of the Douzaine.

As well as an enduring mark of respect for the fallen, the invitation and the service itself provides an opportunity for parishioners to remember those who have served, as well as letting the men and women of the armed forces serving at the time know that their community supports them.
