Most have now paid their rates – but some still outstanding

The update has been issued because rates have to be paid by law and the amounts raised are required for the proper administration of the parish.

Anyone who has yet to pay their rates or is experiencing difficulties in doing so is urged to contact the office as soon as possible. The reason is that without such contact, householders run the risk of receiving a legal summons to Petty Debts for the recovery of the amount owed.

The parish does everything it can to avoid such action, but has no alternative if it has not heard from the individuals concerned.
