Vale-based community radio station GNet will be interviewing States member Mark Helyar tomorrow and is inviting questions from parishioners on topical issues for the Policy and Resources member to answer.
Deputy Helyar (pictured), a former sea fisheries officer before becoming an advocate, has specific responsibility within P&R for finance, the digital industry and broadband.
What might be of particular interest to Vale residents is he leads on the development and enhancement of the eastern sea front, an area that extends to and includes St Sampson's harbour.
The States' senior committee is also understood to be considering whether government money could be made available to help regenerate the Bridge area through development of Leale's Yard.
