Parish meeting agenda published

Details of more than £560,000-worth expenditure that the Vale Douzaine needs to spend in 2020 have been published ahead of the forthcoming parish meeting.
The formal publication in La Gazette Officielle indicates that more than £230,000 is required for parochial administration, including £63,000 towards the upkeep of the parish cemeteries, a sum that has prompted some questions as outlined here.
A further £325,000 is needed to pay for household refuse and the meeting, at the Vale Douzaine rooms on April 1 at 7.30pm, will be asked to approve these amounts.
Parishioners will also be asked to endorse the accounts for 2019, which have been audited, and are available here.
The meeting will also be asked to approve spending nearly £30,000 on the parish church for repairs and maintenance.
