Doubts have been expressed by the Vale Douzaine that island-wide elections can be made to work unless electronic voting is introduced at the same time.

The Vale Parish Remembrance Service commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armistice will be held at 10.00am on Sunday 11 November at the war memorial. Anyone attending will then be invited back to the Douzaine room for tea or coffee and biscuits and invited to view a special exhibition consisting of details of all those names that appear on the memorial from the 1914 to 1918 conflict.
